DJ Falco

Recently I have been getting into a new hobby: Dj-ing; It is such a blast! I have only done 2 "shows" so far but each one i can feel myself understanding the flow of the music and just getting better at the trade. I love the feeling I get when you just play the right song and people light up and start moving. Technically, John Kurtz and I are a DJ team known as DJ's Starfox and Falco but since we are living in different places it makes it hard to collaborate for different music projects. Another part of my Djing experience is mashing songs together. The first songs I ever mashed were Justin Timberlake's "Sexyback" and Daft Punks "Cresendolls" a song that i like to call "Sexydolls". I have been trying to convince John that we should make an album of Mashups. I feel like we would need a different Artist name for out mashups though. If any of you have any suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them. Comment section boom. lets go!

Summer time

Hey there Grant here,

I am back by popular demand! Actually the real reason for this update is that some friends are just now getting into the whole blog thing, make sure to check out my good friend Brady Anderson's blog, and that drew me back in.

So I figure since summer started for me less than a week ago I should lay out a little preview for what it might hold. I am excited for this summer because all of my friends are going to be home from their first year of college with lots of sweet stories. It will be great to get back into the old swing of things (monopoly, risk, disc golf) but also experience some new stuff (wiffleball league, roller hockey, longboarding). As far as work goes I recently starting working at my Mom's restaurant making sandwiches and such and I am excited to see myself progress in that area. Also, I plan on running a firework tent in the middle of Illinois for 2 weeks so that should be interesting.

I plan on taking this summer as it comes. Who knows what will end up happening! Summer '10 Expect the unexpected........
